Halloween is pretty much my favorite holiday. What's not to love? Halloween movies that range from scary to down right adorable, pumpkin carving (has anyone seen the Foodnetwork's Halloween wars? That's some serious pumpkin carving!) candy is always welcome, and I love dressing up in costumes.
So when I got the opportunity to write a Halloween novella I was really excited for it and it was so much fun to write. Also, since I only had about 2 weeks to write it I didn't get a chance to get sick of it. Let's face it, after working on a story for several months, reading it over and over, it starts to lack the shine of that new idea sitting over in the back of your notebook.
The anthology is called I Put A Spell On You. As soon as I heard that title I could not get Bette Midler's voice out of my head. That scene from Hocus Pocus would not stop playing in my mind. Sooooo.... I just had to finish the lyrics and I named my novella And Now You're Mine. Which is fun because if totally fit with my story. It was a win win. Now all of you can have it stuck in your head, as well... You're welcome.

And for those of you that live under a rock and don't know what I'm talking about I found the video on youtube so that you, too, can have it stuck in your head.
Again, you're welcome.
So this novella will be available on October 15th. That's right, peeps. Tomorrow!

Here is the back cover description of mine:
And Now You're Mine
With their show on the verge of cancellation, amateur ghost hunters Casey Taylor and her sister, Abby, are scrambling to boost ratings. Though Raiders of the Haunted House has yet to see an actual ghost, Casey doesn't mind the lack of close encounters. The only thing that scares her more than things that go bump in the night is her massive crush on the show's sexy producer, Luke Mason. When her sister not only books the most haunted place on earth, but decides to put Luke in front of the camera with Casey, she finds out that she wasn't the only one hiding their true feelings. But when a malevolent spirit marks her for death, Casey and Luke find themselves fighting more than their attraction for each other. They need to survive the night...or else it wont just be the show that gets cancelled.

So get into the Halloween spirit, open up a bag of bite sized snickers, and curl up with a fun read. (That was a subtle way of me saying to buy my book... does it detract from the subtlety when I come right out and say it?)
